Latashia Perry is a dedicated advocate for Black homeownership and economic security, deeply committed to uplifting her community through real estate, public policy, and grassroots initiatives.

Born and raised in Oakland, she has devoted her career to empowering historically marginalized communities through homeownership education, financial literacy, and civic engagement.

Driven by Passion

Latashia currently serves as First Vice President of the Young Realtors Division (YRD) and Corresponding Secretary of the Women’s Council Branch of the Associated Real Property Brokers of Oakland (ARPB). She also holds key leadership roles as First Vice President of the Oakland/Berkeley Chapter of BWOPA (Black Women Organized for Political Action) and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee for the Bridge Association of REALTORS®, where she previously served as an At-Large Board Director.

She has further expanded her impact as a member of the NAREB PAC Committee, contributing to national policy efforts that support Black homeownership and economic opportunity within the real estate sector.

Latashia’s civic experience includes serving as a District Representative for Councilmember Treva Reid in Oakland’s District 7, where she helped lead initiatives related to housing equity, infrastructure improvement, and community development. She is also the owner, licensee, and administrator of Perry’s Place Adult Residential Facility, which provides holistic care for adults with developmental disabilities.

Most recently, Latashia became an alumna of the prestigious Leadership Oakland program through the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce—an elite civic leadership initiative that prepares changemakers for cross-sector impact.

A proud mother of three boys, Latashia’s work is rooted in her deep love for Oakland and her mission to create generational change through access, advocacy, and empowerment.
